Remote Photoshop control?

Monday, May 9th, 2011 by Brian

An update to Photoshop allows mobile app developers to “connect” remotely to Photoshop.. things should get pretty interesting soon.

The 12.0.4 update enables specially designed apps on tablets, smartphones, and PCs to communicate with and control interaction with Photoshop CS5 (Located in the File menu: Remote Connections). Now you can be creative on other devices and instantly incorporate what you create into Photoshop. You must install the 12.0.4 update to activate a remote connection between Photoshop CS5 and any apps that Adobe or third-party developers create to interact with Photoshop. These apps will be available in the future on the App Store.

What I think Adobe and Apple need to do

Thursday, April 29th, 2010 by Brian

Adobe & Apple need to stop pushing what THEY want and start doing what THEIR customers and what the general web/mobile users want… users want to access whatever content they want and in whatever format that happens to be in, designers want to create content in whatever format they feel the most comfortable working with, and programmers want to develop their apps once and deliver them to as many platforms as possible without having to rewrite anything.. its that simple.. let the people decide!!
